Oona Campbell

Dorset and Sussex Landscapes

Some of Oona’s new paintings can be seen on the web site http://www.moncrieff-bray.com/?gallery=oona-campbell

Following her sell out show at the gallery in 2007, Oona Campbell returns with a new series of paintings of the Sussex and Dorset Landscape. These paintings strike an immediate chord with anyone familiar with the area and the changing colours of the landscape through the seasons and varying weather conditions. Perhaps best known for her paintings of the Scottish Highlands, since her move to Dorset, Oona has found inspiration in the landscape closer to home. Her paintings of the majestic sweep of Cranbourne Chase, West Wittering beach on a blustery day and the Autumn Colours of Petworth Park remind us of the still unspoilt nature of much of Southern England.
